DEPARTMENTAL INTRODUCTION
- The department was established in 1959.
- The Department of Gujarati has been working actively since last 52 years in imparting education to students at Graduate and post Graduate Level.
- The Department has been headed by scholars and Luminaries like Prof. Rajendra Shukla (a renowned poet), Prof. N. C. Shah, Dr. S. C. Patel, Shree J. K. Vyas (a well known Poet), Dr. R. R. Parekh, Shree R. N. Soni.
- It is the proud privilege of the Gujarati Department that two teachers have Ph.D. Degrees and all are actively engaged in research.
- Currently Dr. B. N. Solanki is heading the Department.
