4. Names of Interdisciplinary courses and the departments/units involved :- We offer Geography as Core Elective and Elective Open Subject with other subjects like Economics, Gujarati, Psychology, English, Sanskrit, Prakrit.
5. Annual/ semester/choice based credit system (programme wise) :-Semester System : Sem- I to IV and Annual System : (Semester System introduced from 2011-12 onwards).
6. Participation of the department in the courses offered by other departments :- We offer Geography as Core Elective and Elective Open Subject with other subjects like Economics, Gujarati, Psychology, English, Sanskrit, Prakrit.
The Dept. of Geography and Self-Defense was established in the college at the beginning of the college. Late. Prof. G. V. Patel managed it very efficiently. The sad demise of Prof. G. V. Patel , due to Brain Tumour last year left the Dept. in an orphaned state at the beginning of the current academic year. As, the Dept. of Higher Education, Gujarat State, under its policy of curtailing expenditure, does not grant N.O.C. for new appointments, the college authorities have appointed Mr. Vardhaman Dabhi as an ad hoc lecturer.Year 2007 to onward Prof. Shri Prakashchandra R. Solanki.
• Why Geography :
Geography enjoys the status of a very significant subject in the college. In fact, the student starts becoming aware of the importance of the subject right from the beginning of his life; that is, when he starts observing minutely day and night, clouds, animals, trees, plants and husbandry, the rising and setting of the sun, moon and stars. Thus, the interest in the subject is actually an inborn interest in every human being and hence is the significance of the subject.

• Future Plan :
We propose to offer Geography as a main Subject if we get one more full time permanent lecturer. We also plan to continue the project on save environment, our visits to various geographical places and establish a Geographical Study Center.
